On Friday 28th September 2018, Macmillan Cancer Support are having their annual coffee morning. As a school community, we would like to support this charity and raise money for it as cancer is unfortunately, something that touches us all in some way.
On this day, we will be hosting a ‘coffee afternoon’ at school, running from 3:00pm until 4:00pm. There will be a cake sale on the top playground and drinks will also be available to purchase. Monies raised from the cakes will go to Macmillan and monies raised from the drinks will go to the TSA.
In order to be able to sell a lot of cakes and raise a lot of money, we are asking for parents/carers to donate a small pack of individual cakes please (such as cupcakes, mini rolls, apple pies, muffins, donuts etc) for us to then sell. Please send in your contributions on Thursday 27th September and not before. Please note, that due to allergies and intolerances, these need to be shop bought products, rather than homemade. As is our school policy, no products should contain nuts please.
Children will finish school at the usual time of 3:15pm and can then join the fundraising event with you. If you are unable to make it, but would like your child to purchase their own cake after school, they may bring in their own money (no more than £1) in a named, sealed envelope to do so.
We very much hope you are able to join the school staff for this event and will kindly donate a pack of cakes to the cause.
We look forward to seeing you all then,
The Senior Leadership Team.
